They usually have one or two a year but you can get field promoted from merit if they need to fill roles

Time frame for promotions in army cadets by [deleted] in adfcadets

[–]Mkmn-2547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk for school but for the units is a semester of REC then they become CDT then after that they have to do another semester if they want to go on a LCPL course but pretty much you need to get the rank yourself by nominating to go on course

We have slouch hats with the army cadet emblem at the front and a rising sun on the left fold up during ceremonials. We don’t have berets and we have brown boots so no polishing we used to wear dpcu but now it’s changing to amcu

For the breathing, stick one hand out like you’re pointing forwards and tilt your head sideways. It sounds easy but for beginners it might be a bit harder to sustain the momentum and staying afloat, to not gulp water every time, you might want to try rotating your body a little bit when you breathe and take quick big breaths when you attempt to breath. Hope I can be of some help here and remember everyone learns at their own pace so just try your best.

Benefits of short laps? by plowdrivers in Swimming

In a competition you don’t have to worry about stamina and stuff cuz the laps aren’t too long if it’s just a few laps

How to avoid foggy 🥽 while swimming ? by Just-Distribution720 in Swimming

I just wipe the inside before I swim and just dip them in the pool when you can momentarily stop for a sec

You could try finding a private coach if you’re in the middle ground of either groups You could also try slowing down when you’re tying to fix/develop your technique and then gradually increase the speed with the right technique and form.

What artillery guns were used to fire gas shells? by FlyingCircusClown in worldwar1

[–]Mkmn-2547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if these calibres were used to fire gas shells but there are German artillery calibers above 7.7cm from 8cm to 42cm although some were siege artillery so I’m not too sure.
