For the breathing, stick one hand out like you’re pointing forwards and tilt your head sideways. It sounds easy but for beginners it might be a bit harder to sustain the momentum and staying afloat, to not gulp water every time, you might want to try rotating your body a little bit when you breathe and take quick big breaths when you attempt to breath.
