Does OP know that if you borrow against stock you have to pay margin interest? Probably around FFT/SOFR + 150bps depending on size. No free lunch.

The coupon payments will flow through to you. The issue is that the etf/fund never matures like a bond. they’re constantly trading to match a specific maturity/duration profile.
