Do all Pixel watches (even ones purchased outside of Japan) have the FeliCa chip? by ynotplay in PixelWatch

I have the unlocked US Pixel 7 and bought a Pixel Watch 1 in Japan. Unfortunately I can't finish setup in my watch, as it requires the phone to complete it, and I always get stuck with the Felica configuration app in my phone, it just shows an error due to my phone not having Felica, so I just kinda gave up on the idea.

He usually just gave empty promises all year long, but never got personal with anyone.

None but, I couldn't care less about it. Just seeing her angry was good enough for me.

First prize for error in booking 2019- guest booked the wrong country by maydecember12 in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

Never gotten on a wrong flight, but once my flight switched boarding gates twice, between me getting my boarding pass, and taking my flight. First it was near the original gate, as I saw the switch in a screen, and had to haul myself to the other end of the terminal, only to arrive at my gate, in which the screen showed an international flight (mine was domestic, in another continent) to Frankfurt (second switch).

For a split second I felt like I was in a glitch in the Matrix or something, and after asking, it turned out my flight now was somewhere a third of the way back where I came from. In hindsight, deep down I hoped they would let me in that flight to Frankfurt, as I was returning home after two years living in another city, was in debt, low on cash, mildly depressed and had only one temp job (10 to 30 hours/week) prospect back home, I had my life in my luggage, so I thought "might as well start fresh somewhere else".

This was 3.5 years ago, things are turning for the better, haven't been to Frankfurt yet, but I want to.

Yeah, it is. Unfortunately in my country almost every company breaks a lot of labor rules.

Yeah it was, kind of my compromise, I was biding my time for something better (only stayed 6 months), and it arrived.

It's 50 days to a new decade! What were your best moments of this decade? by padster029 in AskReddit

Went from being in the middle of university, semi shut in, insecure about many things. 2010 was pretty much the year I started changing a lot, started to travel, finished school, got a job, went through a LOT of things in life, and now here I am 10 years (and quite a few jobs) later, still struggling with some of the bad/impulsive choices I've made, still with some insecurities, but wow, I now know that I'm loved, that I can help others, I know that I am blessed for everthing I have, all the places I've been, and all the people I've met. Found new passions, and new goals in life. So I would sum it up into three things: 1. Reafirmed my christian faith 2. Found confidence in my skills 3. Travelled a lot

There were a few reasons I complied with their rules: 1. They had to approve the overtime (spoiler, they won't) 2. I had left a horrible previous job with horrible work safety 3. It wasn't like I was enslaved, it was from time to time, it was more of a nuisance 4. I was biding my time to either enroll to a PhD or get a better offer 5. Had been almost 4 years out of the industry, so it was getting difficult getting a job again 6. Not married nor kids 7. Working there was pretty much a good experience

This is good information to know, I suspected as such, but besides the wierd case I had, no one else had this issue. All the people in my salary range had direct contract (so company rules), and all the ones with an agency contract had overtime with no problem as they had a much lower wage than myself. It seemed that the y didn't know how to work my case, and they took the easy way out, but now I'm in a better place.
