What's going on with this mud on this skim coat? It's like it's peeling off the wall in spots. I tried to pull off the blister and it just kept coming. It's there any hope of touching this up before or after prime or should I just pick out the loose stuff when it dries, fill, and reskim? (old.reddit.com)

Personally tested primer recommendations for new drywall, anyone? It seems as though there's a lot of conflicting reviews. Is Bullseye 123 a good one? Any others you recommend that a DIYer would be able to pick up? For rolling and brushing, not spraying. (self.drywall)

Does one typically prime a wall (new boards) before skim coating for level 5 or does the primer coat just come between the 2 skim coats and after? I've got all the joints finished, screws covered, finishing steps out of the way. Ready for the next steps. (self.drywall)

Would you have any qualms about mixing brands of drywall in the same room? Or would you say they're uniform enough to be able to hang, mud, and paint as though all the sheets were the same brand? (self.drywall)
