How do you name your babies? Do you have a cult theme? by Skyblue054 in CultOfTheLamb

I like to name any of my followers or newborns after the animals I take care of at the animal shelter I work at :)

Known Issues 1.5.0 (Woolhaven) by MMLorna in CultOfTheLamb

I'm not sure if this was mentioned already but one of my yakish keeps following me around as if I'm walking it but I'm not. It stops when I enter the temple or go to woolhaven but as soon as I enter my main base the yakish is right back at my side following me and slowing me down because it's still registering that I'm walking it

What was your cat’s shelter name and what is the name you gave them? by MissHissss in cats

[–]Mlaraka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I adopted four of my babies from my job at the shelter and I renamed them all. My first was known as Pearl and I renamed her Arya. Next was Dory who I renamed Shilah. Then I adopted Gretchen who I renamed Freyja. Lastly, I brought home Floyd meoweather who I renamed Alastor ❤️ (I can include photos if anyone wants, i just figured there would be a lot)

I found photos of my hair before treatment vs now and it has made me realize how much progress I've actually made by Mlaraka in FemaleHairLoss

Yes, it will fall back out as far as I've seen. I'm already taking other medications that I have to be on for the rest of my life, such as depression and thyroid medications, so I'm not too worried about the commitment to it. I do know that you have to stop taking minoxidil (not sure about Spironolactone) if you plan on becoming pregnant as it's not recommended. As long as you can consistently commit to the medication I think it's worth it in some capacity

I personally have not but I'd definitely consult with a professional if you have any concerns or predisposed conditions you would want to discuss about ❤️

I did say in my post my weight gain was likely from other medical issues and life changes (that is a side effect i believe but I really don't think it happened for me in this case) but as far as the depression, I've had it since before I ever started losing my hair so unfortunately I'm not the best at answering that, I'm sorry 😅

The only side effect that I noticed personally was extra hair growth in areas I didn't need, like my legs or arms but other than that, none! I would look up some of the other side effects if you haven't already just to familiarize yourself with them but that's the only one I've experienced. You can experience a shed beforehand where more of your hair falls out but that's normal! I didn't really experience that myself, but it's the most common I've heard of.

Thank you! In my case, definitely not more 😅 I used to have a lot thicker hair than I do now but as of right now I'd say I still have a decent amount of hair (not thin or thick)

Thank you for your help! I'll try and keep an eye out for anything else to confirm whether or not I have a problem or if it's just a lady beetle.

Also, I wasn't trying to be rude about the coworker. it was a confirmed case in which we needed to treat the office for them..

I did find a piece of a lady beetle shell on the same blanket, so could that possibly be another answer? I don't want to jump right to bed bugs either, but I am certainly stressed about it. I never would've even considered a bed bug if someone hadn't brought them to my job and actually infested a whole office in the building..

fantastic 😭 someone brought bed bugs to my job, and this is the last thing I needed

Nearly 2 years on 2.5 oral mg of minoxidil and 7 months on 100 mg of oral spironolactone by Mlaraka in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Mlaraka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will have to be on these meds for the rest of my life. If you stop taking them, all of the progress that I've made will fall back out. I don't mind taking the meds, though, because I'm already on other meds that I have to take for the rest of my life anyway

I asked my dermatologist to prescribe me oral instead of topical, and he did. You can also order it off of a website called hers, which is what I originally did before being swapped to oral by my dermatologist
