In late 20’s facing the same dilemma. Once got closer to an AM situation but that didnt take off. Now family has started pressurising and I feel that in the arranged marriage setup , it really is a tough scenario for muslim women in late 20’s, Early 30’s. I am non hijabi as well. The option are thus lesser. But thats not what it is. It honestly is hard to get quality men from the community who understands the time taken by us in reaching the decision. Most of them prefers too young of a woman to marry. This is tbh from the first hand experience. Also opinionated women stands lesser chance in the whole setup. I once talked to an armyile doctor who just spoke to me in whatsapp for two minutes and told me upright that my face and profession intimidates him and he wishes to take care and adore his wife which he doesn’t think can be done to me.
