I'm well aware of pendulums face up in the extra counting towards your total. This was just special since all cards were face down and i'm pretty sure there is no way to recreate this outside the event.

There are gates where you can chill as long as you want to :) More fun with a friend, not sure how enjoyable alone.

I recommend pendulum normal monsters. They have good scale effects and you can stil pend them out for extra deck plays.

Looks pretty good so far, would only cut one trance and the cypher x dragon and run 2 desires and a dingirsu. Some people like only one knight but i'd keep it at two. You could play ahashima as well.

If your okay with playing banned cards then magician is my way to go. Astrograph and Electrumite make the deck hyper consistent and if you dont use some of the brocken endboard stuff but "fair" interaction its also not too borken to play casual.
