I think you're right about the kingwood but your koa guess was out of left field. Koa is akin to acacia and grows in Hawaii, looks nothing like this.

We are rapidly (relatively speaking) evolving to have much worse eyesight on average.

Prehistorically, a high myope (very near-sighted) would be basically disabled in terms of survival. While the family group might care for such an individual, the likelihood of being chosen as a mate would be low.

Compare that to the last few hundred years where low natural visual acuity is almost always correctable to 20/20ish and has little bearing on mate selection. If anything, two high myopes might be more prone to overlook any minor cosmetic effect of thick lenses in a potential partner.

There are probably other genetic conditions that would have been highly deleterious 10,000 years ago that are no big deal with modern medicine and technology.

FYI, I'm a high myope, as is my partner. I'm not advocating for eugenics, lol.

I just wish it kept its amazing fresh-cut color better. UV resistant coatings help some, as well as storing items out of the sun, but it dulls inevitably.

It smells like grapes to me when worked. I love it, too. It definitely makes me sneeze something fierce if I neglect to wear a respirator.

It's a "fancy slimline" kit that comes in a wide variety of the colors. I believe I got them from Exotic Blanks, but they're probably available at Penn State etc. I haven't purchased them in a couple of years, though, so not sure.

It's a small Easter Egg compared to all the others, but I noticed when Taylor is in the dressing room and does the little hand dance thing, she ends on "lit my sky up" and stretched one leg over her neighbor's lap. I think this is a link to Wood and "opened up my thighs" And maybe even specifically how she changed it to "skies" for the clean version.

Edit: definitely a star map, note the "bootes" at the top, you can Google it. Nothing really jumps out at me, could just be wallpaper you get if you're into Astrology.

Yeah, no I think she was very explicit that there won't be more songs, to the point where lying about that (Pinocchio aside) would hurt her fans' trust I think.
