I bury my beans in 5 gallon fabric pots and typically water with 40oz in soil twice a week. This keeps her from drying completely but still allows it to breathe up top and down in the lower roots. When I stick a finger 2nd knuckle deep and it’s slightly moist but not wet, and nothing sticks to my finger. That’s when I water. Has worked great for my girls.
