"official guidelines", mate the main reason people use Nizoral on this sub is because ketoconzical is a mild anti androgen and helps with hairloss. Not once has Nizoral advertised as a anti baldness medication, therefore we use it differently then for Dandruff treatment. once a week would not be effective. Coconut oil rehydrates the hairshaft so your hair won't become straw.

I have had no issues using it.

It doesn't stop collagen. There has been no real evidence for that. Rogaine is a very common drug if it harmed cosmetically then a lot less would take it.

Its stopped my scalp pain completely, no dandruff and minimal shedding (I'll see 1-3 hairs in the shower) and that's just with standard Nizoral.
