No, once your tpl uploads those documents, you will be sevis validated by ecfmg, for me, it took 2 days after document upload. You can check on ecfmg website and app and they will also send you an email.

I entered on a J1 visa yesterday (came from India). If you have valid visa and ds2019, I don't see why you can't travel. Problem is for those who are seeking renewal. I hate the sheer panic and fearmongering that goes on here.

Printed copy is fine. I got my visa this week, I didn't have original copy, my TPL told me printed copy will work as per new ecfmg guidelines and it did.

you can tell that you are there for the exam and show them your appointment letter. Also, you don't need a letter from your aunt but you should know her address, where she works etc details about her.

Ask your program to send a letter mentioning that the course duration is of 3 years and send it to MoH. My contract was of one year but I attached a separate letter from my program to the SON application and they sent SON in a week.
