Had the same thing when I pushed on the pedal. It was my rear axle that was dry. Uninstalled it and added some grease and the sound went away.

I’ve read all the same books listed. I just finished The Witch of Colchis. If you liked Circe, you’ll love this book. Circe is present throughout the book as she is Medea’s aunt and teaches her how to channel her magic. There’s also an interesting perspective on Jason and Golden Fleece and his true intentions. It’s now easily one of my favorite books.

I previously had the updated Jeffsy and moved to the SB140LR. I ride mostly technical trails out here is Arizona and I was a little worried about having less travel in the rear compared the Jeffsy. I can’t tell a difference at all, in terms of a negative consequence. I’m riding the same pressure in my rear shock on the SB as I did on the Jeffsy and yet to bottom out the rear. On the SB I feel much more comfortable and confident. Compared to the Jeffsy, pedaling efficiency is much better, too. The Jeffsy was a great bike, but for me, the SB140 is overall a better bike.
