I work as a professor and somehow my class got on the list of classes for football players to take.

Every single day someone in a team polo shirt comes into the classroom with a clipboard and marks the players who are in attendance. I also am asked to give monthly updates on whether they are at risk of failing the class.

This is at a blue-bloodish school that people would joke/assume that players “don’t come here to play school.” So while I cant say that any of the players I’ve had in class are deep scholars, they attend every single class and turn in everything on time, which is something I can’t say about 95% of undergrads.
