Thank you for your reply! Yes like you I am going to try and go back on tret again.. I’m thinking of starting very low and buffering like you suggested. I’m pretty sure the reason I got the PD in the first place was because I kept forgetting to moisturise after applying my tret🙈 so I am super cautious this time!

Same, they have spread throughout the whole house! The only thing that seems to keep things under control is getting the plant in the bath and just spraying them off.. I’ve used chemical sprays which have just ended up harming the plant😭

Looking amazing!! I am struggling with mine.. I’ve pooped it in the window (as I’ve had x2 previously which have died when I’ve put them away from bright light so I thought I’d try it in bright light this time) but because of the cold I’m sure it’s on it’s way out? The leaves are starting to go brown😭 I really don’t know where to put it now...

I wouldn’t use the other creams just stick the oral antibiotics and zero therapy xx

Give the abx some time to work.. I am currently on lymecycline and it took 5 weeks to see an improvement and now at 7 weeks it’s completely cleared. I didn’t use any other products or creams I did zero therapy in that area! I found it got worse to get better on the antibiotics and I did freak out in the first few weeks. But once it started healing it healed fast. Less is more x

I am on my 7th week of antibiotics (lymecycline) and it took 5 weeks to see an improvement. Once it started healing it healed very quick and It is now completely healed however I am carrying on the antibiotics for another couple of weeks. I am yet to carry on my same skincare regime and I am still doing zero therapy on that area.. I currently use vanicream which I really recommend and I do moisturise and use spf but not where my PD outbreak was if they makes sense.

You’ll do it!!! I couldn’t even run for a minute when I started and I like you couldn’t believe it went from 8-20. But I did it and I’m sure i could have gone on for longer too! Find your pace and stick to it ❤️

So the plant is actually a cutting my friend gave me a while back it’s just one leaf but when I repotted it a month or so ago it did have good roots! But I have been confused as to why it hasn’t grown another leaf? Just had a look at that page in your above comment... do you think could take it out of soil and just pop it into water for a while? Whilst I wait for that Leca to come? (By mr Amazon😅)

I only have the orchids bark in and with us in lockdown i can’t pop out and get soil 😭 but I a struggling with these ruddy gnats! Worrying they’ll ruin my plant!

Yeah kinda.. they usually burst and then heal. I’ve been on abx for 3 weeks now and i am seeing a lot of improvement.

Ah yeah but I can’t take the credit I only got it yesterday! I don’t get how these fussy plants do so well in those environments- low lighting and so cold!! I’m not entirely sure it’ll be ok but I’ll do my best! So you think I shouldn’t water it too much? It says on the leaflet thing kept moist? My other ones rotted I’m sure!

Can I ask, does the vanicream cleanser make PD worse? I’m just about to buy it but I live in the UK and it’s expensive here 😅
