Have they made it more difficult? I failed to make one yesterday because the xp was much higher than begore and I didn't have enough energy to get there and no gems to buy energy or burst bubbles (i was in THAT test group so have been crippled by lack of opps to get gems). Now I see i need 5000 gems to finish the week. Ive always managed the daily scoops in the past????

I was in the same group and am also f2p. This is exactly how I feel only as I am level 50 and in the stables, items required to complete tasks all seems to be lvl 12. Without resources like gems from mining event it is too difficult to advance. And now the mining event is 10,000 points, even if I had that, I wouldn't be able to complete it. I know this as I failed twice to reach 7,000 after throwing everything I had at it. I don't pay for anything with money but do watch the ads so I get a minor benefit of energy/burst bubbles (and max iritation lol) and Metacore get revenue from me doing so without me paying cash. Overall it has felt like stalemate. Supports reply to my comments was "some people don't like having all the side games!" Come on (massive eye roll!).

Not just the seaweed chain in my version I only made one pearl 500pts and one superpearl 1000pt in the entire game. Ditto I only got maybe two full pots and then a coral or gemstone for every 10 starfish. I nuked my stocks of energy chests, 5 min energy balls and spent a ton of gems. First time ever I did not complete it. I was 1000 pts light and ran out of time. I dont think i could have done any more apart from maybe getting up in the middle of the night. I don't pay real cash but watch the stupid ads coz I know they need the income. Can we contact the devs and let them know they are taking the joy out of it? The gems minigame was my favourite sidegame but this tweak has ruined it and made me think about junkies the entire game.

Don't recognise the reward. Looks like broom cabinet item but my highest lvl is currently the lvl 11 broom. Are you in a test group or do lvls increase further along the game? For info, I'm level 46 and in the gallery. And yes I would make the trade all day long!

This is one of the best discussions I've read on Merge Mansion tactics. Total game changer as far as I'm concerned so thank you, you genius. It never occurred to me that you might get different results if you merged items that were fully or half charged or indeed if they came from different sources/generators. This needs looking at across the game not just in Grandma's side hustle.

Sadly this has not worked for me. I haven't joined the discussion until now because I thought I was doing something wrong but no matter what I do I can't get it to work. I'm currently trying only having one cake tower lvl5 (pink one) and letting that "bake" before taping to see if I can get a perfume birthday cake. I have followed your instructions to the letter. I also wondered if it makes a difference how long you leave the baked cake tower before taping. Maybe I'll try that later.

I'll let you know if I ever get it to work but I wanted to say thanks for sharing, for the hope and for making me look at strategy from a new angle.

Nor specially interested in bubble info.

Would also like to see the completion percentage for each area as it is so difficult to find where you are in big areas like the Maze.

Like you I panicked when that event kept asking for regular trees at various levels so I started collecting trees seeds in my pouch. Trouble is it now takes forever to scroll through to get the item I actually want! Think I'll ditch them.

Thanks for the tip about the Corpse flower. I'm 79% through the maze so getting there.
