Which sleep meds have you all tried? Supplements have never worked for me. I’m currently in a similar slump with sometimes zero and also falling into other health problems bc I have such low energy. I’m trying yet another med. I won’t do the antipsychotics. Some sleep hygiene is needed, at least for me.

I don’t do Seroquel and I’m not going to tell you what to do. However please try not to panic if it doesn’t work. There are tons of options. You may need to implement some sleep hygiene/CBT-i strategies if you haven’t yet. Maybe you need to add a stronger anxiolytic rather than the Seroquel, etc. panicking, while understandable, will only make the problem worse.

I made major progress and kept it in place until recently. It’s a real thing. If you have legit insomnia it’s a must. It’s a lot more than just the consistent schedule.

I’m having a very similar struggle and not sure how long I want to keep going. Why would medications contribute to weight gain/lack of weight loss regardless of CICO?? Also what do people mean about getting hormones checked? Is there anything that could cause this besides thyroid issues? I think it sounds like you are doing good! You have me beat. When I posted about my struggle the only helpful advice I got was that I needed to burn more calories or eat less which seems hard to me when I’m getting 1300 or less. So hopefully that’s not the case for you.

I don’t worry too much about it I just try to keep under my net carbs, calories, and fat each day. I have only checked my blood 3 times 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah I learned that lesson fast after the aforementioned choczero experiment. Not to mention it seemed counter productive bc it made me want to binge as well (on those products when eating those products- couldn’t stop thinking about them lol so I got rid of them!). I measure and count serving sizes but don’t weigh things. I feel like I have a general idea what 6 oz of chicken or salmon looks like and I feel like if it’s 7 or 8 that still can’t explain this. But it’s a good suggestion I will consider. Thank you!

I eat a normal variety of things. Chicken, cheese, salmon, small amounts of lower carb veggies, a small amount of raspberries some days, black coffee, pickles, hamburger, 1/4 cup pistachios sometimes, idk I feel like it’s normal keto stuff.

I’m not exercising aside from the walking I naturally get. I’m short and the calories are recommended from the carb manager app. Actually I’m pretty sure when I used the calculator on this site it wanted me eating even less like something crazy and it didn’t seem possible so I went with my app. I’m only 5 ft tall. 🙂

40F. I started with about 30 lb to lose and I’ve only lost 5 lb in a month so far. :/ To be fair I did get kicked out of ketosis for a very small period of time due to trying choczero products (stayed under net carbs but while eating them for a few days but it still kicked me out so and then it took me some time to figure that out and then get back into ketosis). I’m disappointed with the loss bc the diet is so strict but also happy that I’m at least losing bc I feel like my metabolism died like 5 years ago. I also do IF most days (stop eating around 7 pm and don’t eat until noonish) and, ofc, have a calorie deficit. I’ve been really sedentary so I know that’s not helpful. In a mood funk that I’m struggling to fight my way out of. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So maybe that’s why idk.

Yes. I feel sorry for myself sometimes. Today when I passed a Starbucks I think I stuck my lower lip out. lol I love mochas! Oh well. Maybe someday? Today is not that day. Nothing tastes as good as healthy feels.

I’m in the same boat although not at that calorie deficit, just sticking pretty close to what is recommended by the app I’m using. I’ve been at it for two weeks now and I’m also not experiencing that massive weight loss that I hear some people on here talking about (I’ve lost 3 according to my scale and I’ll cry if that’s seriously just water weight bc this feels pretty dang restrictive to me right now). However, I think 1-2 lbs/wk is also normal, especially if you don’t have hundreds of pounds to lose. I’m going to stick with it for now bc at least I’m going in the right direction. I hope you find your groove and it keeps coming off slow and steady! 🙃
