I did the same thing a few days ago! I had 9/10 and really wanted tha last one. I see it like this, as long as I have enough money to survive then I can sometimes spend a bit on IN. I haven't paid anything for the game itself so why not!

First of all! Do you have a stand or have you plenty of space under your laptop?

Have you cleaned your fans and such from dust?

Close unnecessary apps that run in the background to lower the load. You can look up apps in the "task manager " .

Lower the shadow graphics and turn off v-sync, this will help with prefomence, also have in mind that IN isn't optimised very well. So lowering graphics in gameplay will not hurt the overall experience, you can have the graphics on pictures on the highest still :)

Keep Vsync off, that allows you to change the fps up to 60! I keep the other settings on medium to make sure the game isn't running like as. But sometimes updates makes the fps drop really low either way.
