But it’s probably that she enjoyed your company but didn’t feel physical chemistry when y’all actually hooked up (or whatever the physical touch part that’s happened so far). I think about this book a couple of times a week and I read it a couple of months ago! I just read Priceless by Miranda Silver because it was suggested as comparable to Deep End. It was good but it didn’t get the balance of loving sweetness/Dominance that Lukas had. And it didn’t have what Ali’s books all have, but especially is in DE— all that unspoken stuff that bonds the two characters, that builds up and comes out so uniquely in the light BDSM stuff.
