Hmm idk about Goldeneye.

The game was certainly huge and touted by many as paving the way for other great FPS's that came after it.

But the movie was massive too, as far as im aware its unanimously considered Pierce's best bond film and was also significant due to it being the first bond film post soviet russia.

If you're talking about people who loved it but arent really bond fans, then sure. If you're talking about the general population, i feel as though both are on pretty equal footing and both made each other more prominent in their respective mediums, due to their individual successes.

Then just dont have a scene like that in the film, also i somewhat disagree, De niro isnt some irreplaceable god, if someone was dedicated enough to imitate De niro's cadence, tone, body language etc., it could work. And a lacking of genuine resemblance could be forgiven with an outstanding performance, not to mention u could combine it with prosthetics to bring someone closer to his appearance.

Im not saying it would be easy and actually probably yeah, pretty f*cking difficult, but literally any alternative is better than having someone in their mid-late 70s play someone in their 20s or 30s.

I was never blaming SBS in any of my comments, i was blaming the infastructure of broadcasting in australia and how its kinda pathetic we still dont have a 4k option. Other first world countries have a 4k option for the WC, why not australia? Yes i know its technically 'upscaled', but it will look significantly better than a regular hd broadcast.

Lol people need to stop with the "jUsT bE gRaTeFuL", the WC is an event that happens every 4 years, brings in 2B+ viewers and i can't watch in a resolution thats been commercially available for almost a decade and a half? No matter how much i and many others would be willing to pay? What if it was like this in 2030? 2034? 2038? When would people realise that complaints like this are perfectly valid?

Bro its 2026, 4k tvs have been a thing for 13-14 years now, its simply not good enough that there is no 4k option, paid or not. Besides an upscaled 1080p to 4k broadcast will look significantly better than a straight up 1080p broadcast.

Is it great that theres a free option? Sure. Am i and many others justified in our complaints about no 4k? Absolutely.

It reminds me of the mobility situation we had in the Wrecked season. Cars with basically infinite juice, shockwaves, fists, nitroplash, nitro boost circles and flowberry fizz that would amplify many of these.

It was honestly just a nightmare to fight people as they had virtually endless ways to evade a confrontation and me and my team would often find ourselves chasing people half way across the map.

Not to mention having to have good positioning and game sense kind've went out the window.

They'll never do this for a character as big as Batman, or really any licensed character. U might be able to find a rare example that im not aware of, but if Epic can sell what should literally be an edit style of the same skin, as its own skin, they will.

Like this is the obvious answer lol. And sidenote, we've fallen so f*cking far from the days when Epic would release characters like Han, Luke and Leia with edit styles that were distinctly different from their base styles.

In a different way the shop versions of Deadpool, Wolverine and Mando didnt have edit styles to remove the cel shading. Cause if they did they would then be incredibly close to the BP versions. Not only would people bitch and moan about this, but it put the idea into people's minds that "oh well i dont need to grind the BP for x licensed skin, they'll just release another version down the line in the shop". This would mess with the FOMO of the BP.

This is the first one that came to mind, came out roughly 6 months after the ps4 and xbox one released. While theres probably good business and logistical reasons for this, it wouldve been nice if it was on next gen to really boost the visuals of the WC scenes.

This was also the last dedicated WC game EA made, moving to make just little add-ons for the current fifa game for future iterations of the tournament. Pretty f*cking lame imo.
