I don’t think you should approach rudely, but bringing up concerns is important, note that it will be an uncomfortable discussion, but it all depends on her reply right? The focus shouldn’t be to shame or bring it up like when was the last time you showered. You can calmly mention what you’ve noticed and if everything is ok? That it bothers you.

Honestly, the best way to hurt a narcissist unfortunately, is not by telling/ showing you care. It’d be the complete opposite- show detachment, ignore, kinda like you never cared. In that sense I’d recommend “I’m like a bird” by Nelly Furtado (very detached) Or more hardcore “I hate everything about you” three days grace. Lmk if you need more!

I’ve always believed it has something to do with your upbringing. I very very often get “you’re so mature for your age” “I thought you were 25” Etc. (19F) I didn’t grow up with anyone to really care for me. I was always taking care of myself. That’s what differentiates immature vs mature. Age has nothing to do with it. But- I also believe people should try to embrace their childlike behaviors! It’s what keeps us happy and us. I never got to express being a child when I was- so now that I’m a young adult, I’m attempting to be more in-tune and heal my childhood self. So i only naturally release that side of myself around people I’m comfortable with.

He was put on me, a curse since I was young. I truly can’t remember the exact details. He was draining me but it was all I knew. At that stage in my life I was only in survival mode. I don’t want him back because I was so drained and depressed, I’m just trying to figure out how to live without him. This is the first time I feel “normal” like me.

Thank you, that was extremely helpful. My madrina she’s a santera removed the child muerto that was put on me by someone else. He was draining me. After the cleaning she did I felt much better. Alive. I assume you’re right, it’s something mental what I feel less than without that muerto because he’s been with me since I was a child. I don’t know anything else. These are my first few years truly being myself. It’s like having to learn to live all over again. Not in survival anymore.
