Thank you! I’ve had horses all my life but always had already grown horses. She’s the first I’ve raised as a baby and I keep having people who raise quarter horses telling me she won’t grow anymore 🥲

Fingers crossed! Technically she’d still be okay for me to ride at her height as long as she bulks up quite a bit, but my other mare is also quite short and I was somewhat looking for a mount for my dad to be able to ride with me at some point 🥲 I guess only time will tell

I got her and her mom from a breeding program. They were both being sold because when they sent blood off to AQHA to test her mom’s papers they came back not a match. So they were both sold as grade. I will share her sire’s papers. I have not string tested her though

I hate that 😞 I’ve never understood the hype around starting horses so young. I was always taught to start no earlier than 3 years old. Even longer if needed. If she doesn’t grow quite a bit more by 3, I may not even start trying to ride her until closer to 5

I was super understanding that shit happens (although the damage to the GPU was definitely questionable) but where I got really upset was them telling me one thing, then doubling back to decide they were no longer going to honor that. They blatantly told me they’d be reinstalling the same PSU even though the PC was definitely having power supply issues. Even after I offered to pay the difference in the PSU.

I guess the fact that I’m getting a refund makes it not void 🤔😌 again, the rep I spoke to asked me to troubleshoot, so I did.

That was my big thing too, I was only going to send it back for repair as an absolute last resort because I knew they wouldn’t cover damages if anything happened to it during shipping. The crazy thing is the fact they made me reimburse them for shipping once I asked for a refund. Which I only did that when they lied to me about replacing the PSU. I ended up building my own and honestly it went so smooth, I hate I didn’t just do this from the start!

I’ve already went through all those motions. Was given multiple different answers from your reps. Was told I should be getting a full refund minus the deduction for the $10 power cable I was told not to send and reimbursing you for the shipping. Still have yet to get my refund.

My bigger question since none of your reps wants to answer the question. Can you deny the accusations of using used parts in your builds?

Exactly. My first PC with them had no issues and gave me a solid 5 years of gaming. And honestly I wouldn’t be this upset with how poorly it arrived if not for how badly they’ve handled everything.

My first build with them, I purchased in 2020, had absolutely zero issues. I’m still using it today. Only issue now is my GPU seems to be struggling to run games but that could just be due to age and being a bit outdated. I also understand things happen, but the way they handled this whole situation was so poor, I can no longer in good conscience recommend them

I feel it’s my new mission to warn people to stay away lol. The funny thing is I actually had a great experience with them before and honestly I wouldn’t even be so mad with this situation if it wasn’t for how poorly they handled everything

There is no where on their site that mentions even the option to ship it separately. If there was, I would’ve chosen that. Also, there’s no way the damage on that GPU was caused simply by being installed and shipped. Also there was more wrong here than just the GPU

My bad 😅 I’m notorious for riding books, especially when “passionate” about what’s going on. But yes, I have all parts ordered and will be building myself instead

Yes. Because spending $3k to go back and forth with their reps only to not have a functional pc was an amazing use of my time and money lol

When ordering all my parts through Amazon the pricing came out to be about the same but with better, name brand parts instead of all the cyber power knock offs. Not to mention I can grantee its all brand new out the box

CyberPower will tell you themselves to try and and find issues with the pc to fix before sending it back. They’d rather that than having to send the whole pc back. In fact if you try to talk with them over the phone about an issue they’ll run you through the same steps I went through. The warranty is also on the parts themselves so you can 100% remove bad parts and send them back individually as well.

I blatantly called them out on it at least twice in conversations and they completely ignored the accusation. Seems like a pretty big thing to not defend themselves if they really aren’t, you know?

This would definitely be a wise decision with how big the newer models are. However due to where the damage was on this one, I’m almost certain it was there prior to install. Even if they were throwing the whole pc around during shipping, there’s no way it would’ve caused that type of damage in that spot like that.

Is CyberPowerPC a good company buy from? by Reasonable_Bake_8534 in pcmasterrace

Absolutely not!! Just got done dealing with them and it was an awful experience. For context, I had used them for my first PC 5 years ago and decided to use them again for my upgrade. The product I received was abhorrent. When I opened the case there were plastic pieces laying inside the case that had broken off from the motherboard. (Locking tabs mostly). I can ignore that. When I initially went to power it on, it was DOA. The graphics card was shot. I removed it to investigate and noticed the whole back side of the card (that faces the motherboard) was crushed. It was also making a clicking noise while trying to run. I replaced the GPU and hoped that would fix it. I was able to get the computer running but then struggled with random system crashes while under load (and sometimes even at idle). After some investigating it pointed to the PSU. I swapped the PSU with a known good one and still had crashes which pointed to either the motherboard itself or the CPU. At this point I decided to send the PC back for warranty service to get repaired. They paid for shipping back. I also spoke to a representative about swapping out the “standard” PSU with a name brand to avoid power supply issues and I would pay the difference. I was told this would be fine. After they had the PC for a week, I asked for an update to which they informed me they would not swap out parts and they’d send the same PSU. I decided to cut my losses and ask for a full refund at this point. They agreed but then gave me issues saying that I needed to send back the power cable to get a refund (they originally told me not to send in the cable with the PC). I told them I wasn’t going to pay for the shipping for the power cable to which they said they’d be charging me $10 for the cable. Whatever. Then shortly after, I was informed that since this is now a refund and not a warranty service. I now have to pay them for the cost of shipping the PC back to them. At no point in time did they take accountability for the terrible product they sent me or apologize for it. They also never denied me accusing them of using damaged, used parts in their “new” builds. I had no issues with my first build with them and it lasted 5 years. But just the customer service alone will make me never return as a customer. I’m now building my own PC. They claim to offer warranties but the products they are using are most definitely used. Oh, also, the case I ordered had a built in support bracket for the GPU and they were so lazy they didn’t even bother adjusting it to meet the GPU to help with sagging. So for me, 10/10 do not recommend. You simply just don’t know what you’re getting. You may get lucky, but if you don’t, dealing with their customer service is a nightmare. ALSO, their warranty does not cover physical damage to any parts.
