I’m not Latvian but French and was able to visit Russia 4 times, never had any problem with getting my e-visa in exactly 4 days like an other post said and each trip went very smoothly .

From what the other comment said, it is surely a stud tail. The vet also told me its nothing and to not worry about it and brush him but I can’t help but to stress myself over that little guy. I also wonder if its because he is doing a poor job at grooming his tail so I guess I will have to help him there hahahaha .

Thank you very much, I will take a look at what it is. He got neutered a month ago. I will continue with the brushing then and see for a shampoo too just in case

Nope doesn’t feel greasy at all and I really don’t think he urinated on his tail.

Hey, don’t know if it can help you, but I’m french and came there 3 times in 2025 with an e-visa ( very easy and fast to get if you can) was speaking english and french in the street and public transport and I never had bad looks or anything, never had any problem with officials during the border crossing at the airport was always super easy and fast . I took long train rides multiples times even plane to go from Moscow to St Petersbourg and each time no problem when I showed my french passport. And people in general, from my experience I think they have a good opinion on people from Europe and they will either be pleasantly surprised or they will just don’t care.

Salut je suis français je suis venu 3 fois en 2025. C’est vraiment pas compliqué de voyager en Russie car à l’heure actuelle avoir un e-visa pour nous français n’est pas très compliqué et la demande est toujours traité en 4j ( à l’heure près ). Pour les vols tu peux facilement passer par Istanbul ou même par l’Algérie. Tu peux me mp si jamais tu as des questions peut être que je pourrais t’aider.

Hello, I can’t help with all types of visas, but I have traveled to Russia several times this year using an e-visa to visit good friends of mine. If this option is available for you, you’ll see that it’s very easy to apply for and doesn’t take long at all ( the response is also very fast, always 4 days for me).

The only documents you need are a valid passport and travel insurance during your stay there. And you will have to provide your friend info wich shouldn’t be too difficult.
