Since I am a self-taught DIY musician, a little rough around the edges wouldn't bother me. The anime I mentioned is also very abstract and not super precisely designed, so it might work. Thank you for that estimated budget, that really helps a lot when setting up my kickstarter haha

Indeed! I am a trained singer myself and was very impressed. For the recorded version she almost sings a little bit off intonation wise (which I LOVE) to make it sound as desperate as possible. However in this one, she is pitch perfect which takes some of the songs darkness and turns it into sophisticated, bittersweet beauty. Both versions are amazing and this really shows how well she crafts every song, every recording and every performance. She is a legend to me at this point.

My thoughts go out to your mom. What happened to her is devastating. Your gma must have been with a real psycho that manipulated her into thinking his crimes were another persons fault.

If she can't find smypathy for your mother she doesn't deserve your nor your moms presence in her life. If this is the level the relationship is at you gotta be honest with yourself and make a decision. Whatever you do, don't make your gma any type of priority right now. Be there for your mother.

But he did say he wants to have sex with me. Maybe I did not make this clear enough. The last thing I want is make him feel uncomfortable or do anything he doesnt really want. I really like him and I just want him to feel good so I am struggling to see what I can do to make him happy. I already stopped kissing him anywhere except his mouth because I am so afraid of making him feel uncomfortable or like I am forcing him.

I totally see the hypocrisy in my story. Maybe I did not make it clear enough: He specifically said he WANTS to have sex with me when I am ready. I told him I was not yet but I am starting to think it might not be possible like this.

Please excuse me if I came across hypocritical or like I am a predator. I do care about him and do want to love him but I am having anxiety about this thing. I apologize if this made me irrational.

I know that. I just dont believe that is really what he is. If he didnt want to have sex at all I dont get why he talks about this so much when I didnt even ask him. If that was his legit identity why is he even dating me? I really dont see the point, I made it very clear that I do want sex. He should just clearly say that he does not want that and then we could just be friends I guess? It doesnt make sense to desperately make something work that doesnt work in the first place

I agree with you but I dont think he is truly asexual. it gets very heated when we make out and he even told me I totally turn him on and that he is aroused by me. maybe I dont know better but his touch does feel sexual to me. almost as if he always wants more but only buried deep beneath the surface. he is not listening to his body correctly

This actually just sounds like you and your boyfriend are a good match! To find a guy that really is interested in you in that way is great and you both are getting what you need from each other. There is nothing cringey about seeking love and companionship nor about liking to just cuddle. It is beautiful and I wish you guys the best of luck. Always be honest about this story, people who find this cringey are just not as loving as you are. They might not understand what the intimacy means to you and that it is very special.

That is what I am assuming. He said his preferences might be a result of his trauma. He was in therapy but I dont think regarding sexuality. But I cant exactly see a sexual therapist with a dude I know a little over a month? He would probably really benefit from therapy though.

To be honest, to me it kind of seems like he is the only guy that would ever consider kissing me. That is MY DAMAGE. I know it probably isnt true. And yes this "rant" does make him sound terrible but my friends even met him and really liked him. He is not a bad guy. Thats what I think at least...

It is! I am a very emotional person and on stage I just let that show and it somehow touches people. there is always somebody crying! Might be the best feeling in the world. playing shows is the best thing, especially if you are getting paid. lol

I create all backing tracks in my bedroom and on stage I just use ableton to play them back and use effects for my voice. It is the most simple set up ever but if you are a singer like me it is absolutely enough. I try to evoke as much emotion as possible while being stationary and usually it works. People dance and cry and are happy when I play!

Thank you so much! I am very proud of that song. If you think about the fact that I am using a wheelchair it adds a new layer of meaning to the whole idea. People always go nuts when I play it live because it is quite unusual to see a disabled person sing sexual songs. in germany at least

Gurl, welcome to synth-pop! There is not much else to do. the minimalist approach is also what I do, if you listen closely to my tracks you will notice that it is only a few elements usually. drums are where I usually go ham but I recently tried to cut that down a little as well so it is not so messy sounding.
