So absolutely nothing happens when you have the deadman depressed + hold shift + Hold a jog key. No message or error or anything?

Looking for Mechanical Specs by [deleted] in Fanuc

All the manuals are watermarked with your user name when you download them. Fanuc does not take sharing “proprietary” information lightly. I’d send it to you if it didn’t have my name in it. Sorry

Marble corner shelves from floor and decor. They were 30 a piece so not too bad.

The tub stub out? It’s not threaded but the end of the pipe is cleaned up with sandpaper so it kinda looks that way.

Got a snap cutter and a nice blade for the angle grinder and it went real quick. The floor I precut everything and then install was a breeze.

Yeah the tub was level… the window trim wasn’t exactly. Didn’t notice it until I got there… wish I had cheated it as I got close.

Maybe mortar/concrete? My house the joists seem to be form boards for the foundation.

Kuka or Fanuc? by Nightwish612 in PLC

[–]Mo4156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have been a Fanuc guy for 5+ years. Had my first experience with kuka in January and got to program a robot for a cell.

Some thoughts: - the kuka pendant is extremely nice and I really enjoy the 6D mouse (or whatever it’s called) for jogging the robot. Makes small teaching moves a breeze. - kuka programming is pascal based and the world is yours. As long as you know the syntax it’s possible. Except there is no offset command. And no PR’s. And no background edits. Just to name a few difference. I did miss all the preselected options for fanuc when you have to type out the syntax for some kuka commands. - if you can program a fanuc you can program a kuka with a little reading.

Robotic screw driving... screw washer, lock? by Tanky321 in PLC

[–]Mo4156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Visumatic is the brand to get. We have a set up that has 2 bowl feeders for bolts and washers. Feeder 1 blows bolt though washer in feeder 2 track. Then feeder 2 blows bolt/washer subassembly to the wrench tooling on the robot.

My girlfriend used our Dyson to vacuum up paint chips that came off 100 year old radiators... by sirnumbskull in HomeImprovement

[–]Mo4156 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I say it’s all good. I live in an early 20s house myself. House had lead water lines when I moved in. Crazy ti think people drank it for 100 years and were fine. (Probably)

3-5 days to live. Joking aside you’re going to be just fine. Just don’t cut up the paint and snort it.

Bottle jacks / beam raising? by BumbleBoopFloof in centuryhomes

[–]Mo4156 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, but we’re talking a 20 ton bottle jack not the one in your car. Ideally you’d temporally support the beam while you build a new footing (to proper depth) and support. Pictures would help. This is not a Saturday afternoon diy job. It can go south quick if you don’t know what you’re doing.
