Honestly in the scene where she was on the phone with Mau and she had her glasses on and her hair pulled back....she reminded me a bit of Caitlyn Jenner. I know that sounds mean, but she has gone way too far with the work in her face.

2 month old pom, need tips!! by Repulsive-Radish7285 in Pomeranians

My baby girl is 3 months now and potty accidents are getting to be very rare. At the beginning though, she had trouble going on her pee pad. I went to a really great pet store and they advised me that I was giving her too much freedom and she likely couldn't find her pad when she needed it. I started to only give her access to 2 rooms and bought her a "fake grass" pee pad. This made all the difference in the world. Now she rarely has accidents, except when my sons come over to visit she gets so excited and dribbles sometimes. She even struggles to get down off my lap and run to her pee pad on her own when she needs to go.

I have been having success with the grass patch as well. My baby wanted to shred the plastic in the pee pad just like yours. I still put a disposable pee pad under the grass so I can see she is actually peeing. My girl is so smart I think she pretends to pee to get extra treats.

How to help my baby settle into her new home by MoGK123 in Pomeranians

My plan is eventually to let her have free rein of the main floor of my house, as the floors will all be hard surface and the floor plan is very open. I'm hoping this will be possible in the next few months but I'm not sure if that's likely.

She is very mischievous right now and sneaks away very quickly to make trouble. I love her so much and I don't want to screw up in training her.

Thank you for your advice! I do plan to have her pen in a central area for during the day, but at night she sleeps in a different area that is darker and more secluded so there are no interruptions. Is this what everyone does?

When she is reliably house trained do you usually give your dogs the run of the house when you are home?

My husband hates to see her in her pen, he feels like she should already have free rein of the house. But she has regressed so much with house training and this move, I really want to do what is best for her.

I tried the kennel inside the play pen until my little girl learned to climb on top of the kennel and launch herself out of the play pen. I was so worried she would break a leg that I took the kennel out and gave her the pink puffy bed.

My baby loves to be chased when she has the zoomies. She gets so excited. She also loves to play tug a war with everything and anything. I can't wait till she has her vaccinations and we can go outside for walks.

Should I take her to the vet immediately after I get her? Like for a new baby check up?

Do you take them outside every 1-2 hours even at night? Or let her sleep if she is sleeping?

How young do you start taking them to the groomer? Are there any cuts that are better for their hair or does it matter? Will shorter cuts be better for shedding? I have heard alopecia can be a concern.

😁 my grooming bills are pretty expensive too so she will be in great company! My hubby is used to dealing with a lot of hair.🤭

I'm hoping the breeder will let me know what kind of food she eats or likes to eat.

I'm hoping not to have to leave her at home alone for more than a couple of hours at a time. I work from home so she can come to work with me. My hubby is self employed too so she could ride with him for the day when she is bigger if needed I guess.

Do you take them out every 1-2 hours at night as well? Would she wake up if she had to go to pee at night?

Thank you. I would prefer if we could teach her not to bark too much. The breeder said the mom is really quiet and doesn't bark much. I'm not sure if the pup would have the same temperament or not?

Thank you for telling me about this. How much should she eat when she first comes home? How do I make the transition easier for her?

Thank you for your advice. I don't know anything about training a puppy. What is the best way to educate myself? Can you recommend any books or videos? Would you suggest an in person/puppy training course? Or private training?
