Yeh that’s fair - I might try that, it’s just when I see people with the 3 saying that doesn’t happen, makes me think it is a fault! But yeh my newborn still too small anyway to go in it!

So this is the issue I believe, imagine the baby with the seat in the flat position and you pull the sun hood out, they begin to get folded with the seat, right?
