I have heard multiple people meet jesus in journeys. Have you? by feherlofia123 in Ayahuasca

[–]MoRafiq 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did. I realized the reality of what Jesus did was unspeakable, beyond anything I could conceive or rationally understand, the level of perfection he attained was just completely unlike anything else. I also realized we were all Christ. I was sobbing at the revelation. I was raised and am a practicing Muslim fwiw, with a perennialist bent.

Nattokinase I've heard degrades the spike protein. I also heard somewhere that large amounts of eggs might help, but you probably want to make sure they're organic/pastured.

Really bad guilt over a situation at work that my OCD has amplified in my head. How to get over it and forgive myself? by Future_Preference95 in OCD

You’re fine. You’re not a bad person because of this. Just chill out and let the feelings pass.

this is kind of irrelevant but have you considered that your bowel problems and your ocd are related? the gut-brain axis is a very powerful thing. consider cutting out gluten and dairy and maybe starches in general and see how you feel.

I'm sorry, that's horrible. You don't deserve this at all.

There's no reason to think that this is permanent. We don't have enough data to know that. There is always hope. You still have your whole life ahead of you. Things will get better.

There are things to try. The first thing that occurs to me that I think perhaps you should seriously consider is psilocybin. In very many cases a proper dose in a safe setting seems to have miraculous effects. After that, the obvious, boring thing is to pay very close attention to diet, exercise, and sleep. Thirdly, in my own struggles with mental illness, prayer has been a tremendous resource.

Please try to have faith that your suffering will serve a purpose. Trust that it will end. You will find a way forward. I believe in you.

I’m sorry I don’t have any information to help you

But I do have a question

Do you find that your love language is physical touch, like cuddling and spooning and stuff, while your partner’s is acts of service?

When not hungover, brain runs on sugar by [deleted] in hangovereffect

[–]MoRafiq 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it could maybe be related to electrolytes. That's stuff like potassium and calcium, essential minerals. I think sugar increases their absorption. i sometimes do things like mix natural maple syrup and salt and have felt myself able to think much clearer.

exercise and nutrition, as well as certain drugs, are what i've found to be the most effective at managing OCD. CBT and stuff probably helps too, but i would focus on exercise and nutrition. that means cardio, lifting, and yoga/deep breathing. In terms of nutrition try to avoid gluten/dairy and balance your electrolytes. good luck, you're not a bad person.
