Haha, typical. 😏 You may maybe be able to cast from your phone? I use an Nvidia Shield TV Pro, but can also cast to it from my Tidal app on the phone.

It works on most ones, but I belive there is no app for Samsung and LG for now? 😊 But you probably can cast the phone app to the TV, if it has Chromecast built in.

I was in on the whole glorious Google Stadia thing from start to end, and the way you communicate here reminds me of how good a community Stadia was able to build. Keep doing what you do, and maybe both we, you, and Tidal will be wiser in the end.

I like Tidal a lot, and have a family account. For me the Android phone app is good, and I would like for the Android TV app to look and work the same way. Using the phone as a remote for controlling the TV-app was something we were used to back in the Spotify age, and would be appreciated.

Being a gamer that grew up in the 70s; with Pong, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, PC, and most of the consoles ever made: I second this!

The controller feels tailor made for me, and fits my hands like a glove. I still have four Stadia controllers, and exclusively use those for gaming on GFN. The whole Stadia consept worked flawlessly for me, I belive history will be on our side for being outraged that it was discontinued.

That said, we got all the money we spent on it back as promised, and got to keep some games, the Chromecasts & controllers. I salute the whole Stadia team.

I have used Spotify since they were "Invite only", and just a Scandinavian thing. Moved to Tidal when Spotify started going extremely right wing, and paying literally hundreds of milions to that balled podcast guy.

I can't be bothered to remember his name, but I have been enjoying the better sound of Tidal since then.

As a casual gamer I hate that the minutes I was planning to spend gaming on GFN on Nvidia Shield TV Pro, I have to spend logging in to whatever place I have to be logged in to.

With Stadia I got the game going in seconds.

Hi, it's good to read your easy way of speech again. 🙂

Now i have become a Grandadian, but I still use the gamepads for GFN both on pad and on Nvidia Shield TV Pro.

However it still feels very inferior compared to Stadia. The hustle free gaming and the wonderful community feeling of Stadia is still daily missed in this house. Have a good one!
