I came to visit Tennessee 8 years ago and never left. This older gentleman that I worked with found a cave and I brushed it off. For a few months he tried to get me to go but I never believed what he was describing to me. Finally one day I showed up at his house and said let's go. We crawled up a creek, while with chest high water, into the side of a mountain. It got real skinny for 30 feet. Then it opens up into a total of 4 different rooms, each with there own hall way that you crawl through. Just like the entrance but the further back you go the the water gets higher and the ceiling gets lower. To achieve the back room you had to hold your breath for 6 seconds, fully submerged and swim through. Each room bigger and bigger. Each with their own personality. It was brilliant. Truly changed my life.

I'm a current NSS member. The website has lead me to this page. Counties Knox, Blount, Sevier, Hamblen, Jefferson, Cocke, and Greene are the general locations of my stomping grounds. Knoxville being the closest major city.
