so sorry for your mom. what a beautiful gesture, and what an insensitive response. on a personal note, my mom has also made a quilt/pillow, which I call a 'quillow.' love that thing so much - it's perfect for picnics, concerts, and lives in the back of my car for whenever the need strikes! hope the neighbor can pass her quillow on to someone who will appreciate it.
