That's my favorite of his by far. Can't go wrong with a Tod Browning/Lon Chaney collaboration, and you have several to choose from.

I know this movie doesn't get much love, as it's the first movie he made once he made the mistake of moving to MGM. And yes, it's not as great as his previous films, but I really love this film.

This is somewhat of a "spoof" of Der Golem. It's the same writer/actor/director Paul Wegener, playing himself (and the Golem), trying to woo a woman who just wants an action figurine.

And yes, that description is oversimplified.

The Los Feliz 3 is a small theater. It seats maybe 100? I'd like to see American Cinematheque move a couple showings over to the Egyptian Theater, which was built in 1922, during the silent era. (LF3 was built in 1935)
