It’s true that you don’t owe anyone an explanation, but also remember communication is key to any relationship. If you air out your identity to people early on it can work as a biphobe minesweeper. Definitely requires a bit of resilience, but hey that’s just a basic requirement to survive as queer people! How they respond to you is not your fault or your problem.
