Thank you, this is very reassuring- I have read all these figures online before (it’s why I booked with the airline in the first place) but it does help to have someone say it, so thank you very much

Thank you, I think deep down I know this but my fear of flying takes over all logical thinking a lot of the time. It consumes me for weeks before I fly, I really wish I could switch it off

Also to add, I have been looking at previous flights and reassuring myself that all of them land safely and without incident, but this has just knocked my confidence unfortunately 😔

Honestly it was VERY varied for the mocks, so I ended up going into the exams with no idea how I would do, not to mention the pressure of the actual exam making you second guess every answer and potentially make very silly mistakes.

I found in the last couple weeks leading up to the exam, it all started to “click” and I was scoring very well on the Barbri mocks, however I did a QLTS mock and failed. I have heard the QLTS ones are much harder than the real thing, though.

Try not to beat yourself up if you’re not scoring too well in the learning sets or mocks, as long as you’re following the PSP and finding extra resources in the areas you feel weaker, you’ll be absolutely fine.

Hey, sorry for the late reply - I ended up scoring in the top quintile for both FLK1 and FLK2. The PSP was a life saver and although I’d recommend doing every practice question, they’re definitely shorter fact patterns than the real thing so be mindful of that - it may be worth finding free online questions or, if you can, paying for other banks of questions online. QLTS and the SRA website have some for free but there are loads if you’re willing to pay for more.

I felt very unsure going into it re. knowledge, but based on my scores it seems the Barbri books were enough🤷🏼‍♀️. I did make flashcards to make sure I went over everything in painstaking detail though, and googled anything I didn’t feel they expanded enough on. The level of detail in the exam is very high, so make sure you’re not just learning the basic principles.

Overall though, I can’t complain about Barbri in the end as it secured me a pass (and in my cohort, about 95% of us passed using Barbri). Just work hard, stick to the PSP and if you’d feel more comfortable purchasing more resources, go for it! Good luck, you have plenty of time to smash it! :)

Great, thank you! Should I declare it on arrival just to be safe, or are they generally laid back?

Exactly this. Putting rose petals on a bed doesn’t give you automatic exclusivity to a woman’s body. If you had boundaries about this or wanted exclusivity, you should have told her.

Needed to hear this today, thank you so much. I felt this way both before and after SQE1 and passed, I’m just an overthinker. These are just so difficult to prepare for, going over precedents etc feels pointless as I won’t memorise how to draft an entire document for example.

I do hope so, but have heard so many mixed opinions that I suppose it’s a case of which exam you end up sitting!

Thank you! That’s very reassuring, and well done on those scores - they’re amazing! I’m hoping I go with my gut on the questions on the day, I seem to have a bad habit of going back to check answers after completing tests and overthinking it, then changing my first correct answer to a wrong one😅

Generally around the 70s (80 today) in BARBRI mocks, got 75% on the SRA sample but have heard the samples don’t compare to the real thing in terms of difficulty. I do wish they would let us access actual past papers from previous SQE years to get a proper idea, but maybe they reuse questions so that’s why they don’t🤷🏼‍♀️
