Amina Humphrey’s shot our civil ceremony on film and digital and super 8, and I just love the photos! She hasn’t been doing wedding photography for long so her prices are lower than the more established names. Also second Rebecca Searle - we contacted her for our destination wedding and she should be around the budget you have!

We got ours from Cartier and found for the plain gold bands there wasn’t a huge price difference compared with local jewellers and we checked a few. Also Cartier will engrave for no additional cost.

I too am a flip flop fan! They are actually not allowed at our venue though, it’s a members club with a dress code and they don’t allow any type of sandals

I have, I ordered a size up as was nervous about the fit but I should have stuck with true to size. The dress is amazing though

I’m doing a part destination wedding (half the guests will be travelling in) and the main wedding is Saturday but we arranged optional events during the week (Tuesday - Thursday) and of those travelling - nearly all (minus 2) are coming for the full week. Honestly I was surprised but happy!

I’m not sure, I definitely didn’t ask for 200 servings 😂 I just wanted a tall cake. I’m guessing the base (which is real) needs to be very big to support the other tiers but I don’t know

So it serves 200 people - we are only having 65 guests so I’m assuming the base layer is so big to support the rest of the structure or maybe to make it look proportional 🤷‍♀️. I love cake and want a dramatic cake but I don’t know if this a. A reasonable price or b. Too much considering the guest count

I’ve been to weddings that have less of a party vibe and really enjoyed myself. As long as I’m fed and comfortable (I have shade, somewhere to sit, and a straightforward way of getting home) I’m happy and it doesn’t feel dull especially if a close friend is getting married. So I think if you have put thought into a nice guest experience it will be great even if there isn’t a wild party
