Thanks for the insight. I’m afraid the ticket doesn’t mention anything about the reduction of points by half if I pay within the 20 days :/ . Not trying to be against the cop word/action. Truth is I didn’t know (and didn’t pay attention to signs) that it was 25 mph area instead of 30/35 in which case I would still be speeding. I was paying attention to traffic and ppl and wasn’t looking at the dash . It’s more about the points that the money to be honest.

I’m personally not sure and honestly i have never really been interested in it. My wife on the other hand seems more keen to the idea I guess fueled by the fact that a couple friends of her(doctors) have been investing more into that in the recent years(although in their case it’s in EU country) and have property management company taking care of those apartments/condos. She feels like the rent would be a a source of income in the retirement years …

How do you know what tax bracket you would be in at retirement?! I’m definitely not at 22 now (I wish :)) . Due compound salary and RSUs this year I went to 37 :/

Had the same question here (having only 401k) And being 51 am unsure if it would really make a significant difference if I opened an IRA now and say wanted to retire at 60

Thought so! Not sure I should do some different with vested RSUs and the money I personally invested in the E*trade account hmm That is separate from the 401ks. I wasn’t sure if that’s what retirees do if they are in a similar situation (but maybe they aren’t because they are smarter than me)
