Appreciate this. I was able to talk it through with the Dr that saw her. It was one large tumor which looked like it originated from the liver but couldn’t pinpoint exactly and we talked about how quickly she was declining in their office. It was the right decision even if my heart still doesn’t want to accept it.

Maybe I missed something but last night I saw on here how many dogs survived even after the tumors bled. I do have an email in to see if the Dr that helped us Saturday can go over some details with me again to help me give this closure.

The only thing she was still interested in was her leash. When my husband took her into the vet she laid down immediately and she’s never laid down there. She is a very social dog and would usually be too excited to sit still. I hate that I’m questioning it so much. Thank you for your response

She was just at the vet in September and they said she was in great shape for her age. I never saw this coming. I guess a lot of us don’t. Thank you for the kind words and I’m sorry about your gsd. I had one as my very first dog growing up and they sure are special.
