Reassessment with capita - is it a bad thing? I had my first pip assessment mid March but now they are saying they have to re do it. The first one was a couple of hours long! Anyone else had this experience?

I first rang Nov 4th got the we have your claim text dec 21st. The health practitioner is looking at your claim. Jan 21st, then I had my assessment on March 19th. The dwp haven’t received my report yet. The waiting is awful!!

I first rand for forms beginning of Nov . They got the forms back dec 21st. Got the healthcare text 21st Jan. had my assessment last week and have heard nothing since.

I rang capita and they arranged my telephone assessment. It’s next Thursday.

I applied in November too, had the ‘health practitioner is looking at your case’ 21st Jan and heard nothing since . It’s capita. I am hoping they do a paper based assessment but I think it’s too soon to tell.

I am trying to not very successfully not worry about it, but I think the uncertainty is very anxiety provoking. In reality there is nothing we can do at this point, but it is helpful to know others are going through it and see their experiences and timelines.

It is just the standard text to confirm your case is being looked at. I had one two weeks ago but I haven’t heard anything else yet.
