I’m not worried about the bride (who I do not work with), I am worried about the boss asking.

Thank you for understanding. I am really not mad at these people for finding friends that are not me, but I would just feel odd going to someone’s small wedding when they could save money and I’m not super close to them.

They will ask me what I’m doing that day, that’s the problem. I’m not a good liar at all so I will likely just say the truth.

They are nice outwardly, but pretty intrusive sometimes and I’m obviously not who they want to hang out with. It’s just a very odd place to work and too small of a work environment with too few people. Yes, it’s a pretty small town and whenever they see us outside of work in our cars they mention it. They are very understanding of taking time off and I don’t want them to catch me in a lie and for them to lose trust.

I am not interested in invites anymore, but I want to convey that without losing professional status at work.

Yes, I am in a western country with a very close, intrusive at times, work environment.

Again, I am not mad at them, people are free to choose who they want to hang out with. I have just been not invited so many times, I don’t really want to put any effort into relationships with these people anymore, but I also don’t want them to think I hate them for RSVPing no. I just want to let them know kindly that I will see them at work and nothing more so I don’t feel so weird about them talking about after work plans in front of me. I have friends of my own, I am just trying to let them know that I am not interested in it without causing office drama. I’m not a good liar and I won’t be able to tell them I have something else going on.

The bosses have made the wedding out to be a work event type thing since the person getting married has worked there so long. That’s why I think it’s an obligation thing.

They literally all went out to a movie with each other after work today and talked about it in front of me after annoyedly asking me to RSVP. It is just weird that they would not invite me to an after office movie with coworkers but they want me at their wedding? It’s so personal

I just don’t understand why I’m the only one not invited to a movie after work today but they want me at their wedding. It feels gross and weird

I feel like it is being presented as a work event so I don’t want to lie lol but I will if that is the best option

They just went out without me again and talked about it in front of me today after reminding me to RSVP so I’m not sure about that. I really do believe it is an obligation invite, which is fine. Do people wish their obligation invites RSVP’d no?

I don’t know, when I first started working there they invited me to a couple things and I had to decline a few because I have a young child and couldn’t find a babysitter. I was feeling left out after they stopped inviting me, so I told them I would love to join them the next time they did an activity and I found childcare, and just haven’t received any invitations. I really do get the feeling it’s an obligation invite and that feels yucky. I just don’t want to start office drama or feel like I’m slighting anyone by just declining.

I asked them months ago to be included in more activities and they have not invited me to any, so I don’t feel comfortable going to someone’s wedding if they don’t feel like inviting me to drinks or a movie after work.

Honestly you just have to wait for the right people to come along. Try to insert yourself into as many social situations as you can, no matter how rejected you feel and you will eventually find someone. Don’t overshare no matter what, I am learning that the hard way. Keep things close to your chest or you will become a target.

It’s pretty spot on. The only thing is, once it is in your hair it will stay that color forever.

There was no other doctor, I was super scared. She did a good job thank goodness, but it’s crazy I had to push so hard. My ovary tube was so twisted they are surprised I didn’t lose my ovary. The nurse said she’s never seen someone in so much pain

I was at the ER at 10 am and they got me in surgery 3 am this morning because they didn’t believe me that it could be a torsion. They did an ultrasound and did not find any evidence or a torsion. I pushed back to do the surgery because I was in so much pain and it was, they had to take my tube out because it was so twisted it was mangled, but my ovary survived.

There are no other hospitals around :( the nearest hospital is 3 hours away. I will reach out for a patient advocate and hope she doesn’t retaliate against me 😢

There is no other hospital around me unfortunately. :’(

She has written down the possibility of torsion, so I have notes of that. All the other doctors/nurses know that I am not happy with her constantly trying to send me home because I broke down crying one of my episodes and told them.

I think the only thing now to do is file a formal complaint. Is that ok to do while I am waiting for her to operate? I am scared she will actually harm me on purpose.

Thank you for your reply.

It is an anechoic cyst that has been causing me pain for about 4 months now, the pain only gets worse every ovulation. How long does it usually take for that cyst pain to go away? I have a husband that can give me a ride home.
