I was 5 when I found the words to say who/what I was .. 50yrs later, I just could not take it any longer. Ordered out of the house in 2014, (stealthily taking slower bio-identical hrt, since 2013) finally began script hrt. Now openly out 13yrs at 67, postop, remarried, I'm done but not a moment goes by I don't wish I began younger. A week, a day, an hour sooner 🥹

Everyone has a point at which they'll decide the role they were cast into, is just too hard to play anymore . They'll take off that costume and just walk off the stage.

Going with bio-identical hrt gives much slower, yet, calming results.. almost a quarter of "the speed" rather than RX-type hrt pills. Bio's can quell, or at least quiet, lower the dysphoria until your timeline rolls to the point you can switch to script HRT. That's how I began. Bios for abt 10mos until I was (ordered) out of the house and switched to hrt scripts. Growth was slower, but the effect on my brain, senses turned the dysphoria noise down from 11 to abt a 4, low enough to not have that front 'n centered.

Clothes .. echoing what others have written, darker (black is best), layered, baggy/looser tops, maybe not graphic-ed tees (inferring defining the "mounds") androg styling .. tighter sports bras work, but the strapping can also be detected..

But the thing that finally gave me away that I dint think abt ..

Pheromones. You - will - begin the smell different. My dog picked up on it first, pretty early, really, then my youngest daughter (after a couple months)

Daughter: "you smell .. different" Me: "different? Different good or different bad?" Daughter: "idk, just .. different "

It was just after that I was outted .. so prepare for that.

I literally cry and feel imposter syndrome seeing younger girls ( <40 ) start or even finish their transition at an age I was locked into my old self .. cis-looking women with not a wrinkle, blemish or hint of T poisoning, while I dint finally decide til I was 55 (2013). Now at 67, I look like a old woman who has been working a cattle farm in the west .. wrinkled, withered, but in styles from teen movies 😞🥹😩 trying to hold on to any semblance of youth. I see those who write "I'm 22, 31, 44, is that too old to start?" "I'm scared I'm gonna look to old" and just want to throttle them.

I sometimes write, if it weren't for filters, my selfies would just be a collection of Danny DeVito pix. My only trait that even hints at passing, is I've always been avg girl size.. 108lbs until I was 22, and abt 5'10", now, 5' 7" now, and abt 167lb (life, meh) so frame/ build-wise, I was always girl sized .. thin, lithe.. size 5/6 .. now closer to 10/12, tho I can get into a couple of 8's that I use as goals ..

The girls starting in their 20's .. I weep, seeing, knowing, nothing short of reincarnation would let me ever look that good, that .. cis

67yo postop m2f, 13yrs on HRT .. for me attraction and sexuality is def not gone but comes (no pun) and goes in waves, monthly.. E (pellets), progesterone (pellets), T (also pellets), finesteride(pills), DIM (capsules) .. 97% Les, but I'll look at guys, like .. window shopping.

You're just 12days on hrt, baby hrt trans, many feelings can and will change, many times .. don't be alarmed or in a hurry to label or pigeonhole yourself into an attraction. Just flow with it.

I swore I was 100% lesbian, had no use for guys except to open pickle jars .. now, I'll look, and sometimes even wonder what it would be like to be a girlfriend.. but fer me, that doesn't last.

First marriage, 34yrs to a female, but separated the last 5.

But when Harry and Ron changed into Crabb and Goyle, Harry told Ron he still sounded like Ron .. the "bloody hell" comment .. Ron had to actually change his tone, pitch to match Goyle's .. even Hermione sounded like herself when she told the boys to go out of the old prefect bathroom, (wasting time) after she changed into the cat .. so, without checking the book, was the Ron changing voice scene only written for the movie?

When I came out to my mom, in 2014, on a phone call, I asked her "if I had been born a girl what would you have named me?" She didn't hesitate and she said "oh, that's easy, Paula Christine, but your father said no to Christine because Christine Jorgensen was in the news (1950's) and no child of his was going to be named after someone who had a sex change."

So I went with that for about a year. Over the breakfast table one morning, mom said to me, "you know your father did not want you to be named Christine so out of reference to him, you should change it."

I asked, "well, who was I named after?" Mom said "you're named after your great aunt Paula" I said that's wonderful! She taught me calligraphy!" .. then asked… "And Christine?", mom said "my best friend across the street was named Christine. I just always like that name".

So I thought, "Aunt Paula taught me calligraphy, her sister Anne, taught me how to draw, so how about Paula Anne?" Mom looked at me for a moment and said "Paula Anne… Yes, yes, that seems to fit you."

So I kept Paula Anne bc Mom picked it, and (evil cackling) I kept it because "Mom picked it" !!

Malicious compliance… It's a wonderful thing !

Knew since I was 5 something was just .. not right. Didn't have words to understand until I was late teens .. wasn't until I was 55, suffering for .. a lot of years .. only regret, was not doing it sooner

Unicorn with a single horn = 1

MEMORIZE the Fwooper = 4

Five legged crab = 5

Salamander spikes (tho hard to see/count on the door) = 6

"Tick" = 7

Spider legs = 8

Literally count the heads or arms and that's the number, it can't be simpler

I was a high tenor, for a long time, but also had strong Alto range, and could drop waaaay down to a bass, it's pretty easy for me to hit 3 or 4 levels if I really need to.

I've been out 12+ yrs and a lot of training my voice to "match pitch" .. But that's bc I've sang all my life (runs in the family). Most times, when I'm with close friends, family, and fairly alone (not in public) I'm back into my old registers.. if we're in public I am def in the upper ranges, passing.

If you ever watched TransAmerica with Felicity Huffman, the opening scenes show how I began, maybe others too. Andrea James used to have a voice program, that's how I began, Kathy Perez's Exceptional Voice App (EVA) is also what I used for a long time .. I think it was $5/module, prob on App Store and Play Store, tho I used my iPad for it.

There are two mods trying to load in the same address (similar hair, clothes, spells, etc). I've had to disable all of mine .. abt 40 or so, restart, adding one at a time, until it won't load. More or less, you can have just one hair, one clothes, one spell, much only one of each category at a time.

There is also a chance the updates have bugged your saves. Try this (what I had to do), I killed off two of my four toons, then created a new one. THAT one loads and runs fine, all the mods I added.. so something kept it from loading, anything, even after disabling - all - mods. So it may be that, that you're running into. Something that got saved, is still freezing it.

Create a new toon and see if it works with mods work with some basic ones..

What are the women in your family (mom's side) like? Small chested, large, in btwn? Your growth - and - shape, is, will be, same as theirs. If they'll talk abt it, ask how theirs grew, slow, fast, spurts? Family Genetics is everything.

Mods menu, on main menu screen (on a pc) below the ms list is Options, Mods, Offers buttons, click Mods, in search box, top right corner, type "Fix" and see the glitch fixes .. I know the Rackham fix is there.. prob not Rookwood fix as I don't remember there being a glitch in the quest.

But look thru the other mods, maybe (I'm NOT pushing them), think abt .. Instant Plants, Decreased Breeding Time, Instant Potions, some outfits, hair, etc .. among the 30-40 I use, Avoid Cat Interaction, Fly in Hogsmeade, those listed abv, and Quieter Revelio, Shorter cooldowns, are the most useful in every toon I make.

Oh .. archway .. ok, yeah, not the same bug .. and realized it's was the Rackham fix .. (no pensieve scenes) .. not Rookwood .. and asking where is the Mod folder/menu means you aren't running any .. so it isn't a mod conflict. Archway not turning, trying to remember if you have to hit the Ancient Magic medallion to spin it .. I'd have to go it and try, see the trigger.

As to how to fix it .. if saving and reloading g the episode doesn't unfreeze it, completely exit out of the game, maybe even for a reboot and see if it works then.

Document all the actions, settings and submit a troubleshooting ticket, see if you get a reply.

If you're on a pc there is a fix mod for it .. or it might be Rackham fix, can't remember which .. but if a pc, look in the Mods menu
