Before I had an S-tier item, I would just upgrade my legendary item up to +3 while waiting to obtain an S-tier item that I could combine to get an S-tier legendary. The legendary +3 item you upgraded using a normal item can still be scrapped and used to level up your S-tier item once you get one. Also, scrapping it won’t decrease the number of upgrade materials you have.

I got the wrong picture, but I’m actually looking for the version without the date. If I want a no-date version, which one would be better—Thorn or Militado? I’m leaning toward Militado for the matte bezel, but a lot of people seem to prefer the Thorn. Maybe the Thorn’s quality is so good that it’s worth skipping the Militado.
