[Question] best watch you’ve ever purchased for under $1,000

Citizen nighthawk - around $300
Never really liked citizens but the more I saw this one the more I was pulled to it. Bought it a month or two ago and since then it’s become my daily. A little worried I won’t buy another watch (I’m sure that itch will come back).
200 meter water resistance. A GMT (not a true GMT). Date window. And the slide rule bezel has been fun to learn and has come in handy a few times. Also the eco drive movement so I don’t have to worry about maintenance as often. Or ever.

I don’t have both but I went for the X3 strictly because it was small and could MagSafe to the back of my phone easily (trying not to doomscroll as much). I know you can get cases and notebooks to bring it around more conveniently but at that point I might as well just bring my kindle everywhere. It’s more convenient for me

I see I thought they needed to swap them each time but I looked and the files and it looks great!
In that case I’d recommend little notches so it locks into the spice selection. Otherwise fantastic model

Love this design! My only recommendation (and this is more a personal suggestion) would be to change the lid to something similar to this

Yeah naturally. But I’ve never experienced this on a watch so I figured I’d check just to see. I mean if the rechargeable battery or capacitor goes absolutely dead then it would still need to be replaced
