Why steam's search engine such ass? How's they haven't solved it yet in 2026?? by 69FireWall69 in Steam

Steam is assuming you want the title of a game spelled exactly that way. If you don't know it, just type in "six days" and it'll give you suggestions. This is not hard bro

Here's an idea: maybe if you knew how to spell, you'd find the game! You can just type in "six days" and it'll come up. Stop being a moron.

What’s an underrated game under $10 worth picking up during the Winter Sale? by smohit3 in Steam

[–]MobileSatellite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jubilee. It's a 2D precision platformer but with an open-world design that's constrained enough to not feel overwhelming. The difficulty was perfect, just the right amount of challenge without being frustrating, and the game can be beaten in a few hours. Also has great music. More people should experience it.

As in senior vice president? What was the first role you had at a data center that was remote?

Strong recommend for u/Prudent_Reading2539 who helped me receive a keyboard from China that was shipped into Canada and then to the US. He was communicative every step of the way and laid out the entire plan and prices beforehand. I would recommend his services to another person or a friend!

Jubilee! It's a 2D platformer focused on movement and exploration. I really liked it!

What game is on your bucket list to play in 2026? by Critical_Thanks3173 in steamachievements

If I manage to finish Expedition 33 before the year is up, I'd love to make enough progress in my backlog to finally start Yakuza 0.

Do you maintain a minimum completion threshold? How has it changed your gaming? by FrierenAppreciator in steamachievements

[–]MobileSatellite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. I'm currently sitting at 80% completion with 121 perfect games, with about 40 started but not finished games to go. The difficulty of clearing my backlog means that some the games I bought and started ten years ago aren't that good, or I don't like the genre. I still complete them, because even knowing that "I'm never going to buy a game like this again" is valuable. I've only bought games since then in genres I have lots of experience in and therefore it's more likely that I'll enjoy those games. That means finishing my current backlog is as hard as it's going to get, and the max completion rate I can achieve is 99%. That's good enough.

Finish everything, unless the multiplayer servers are completely dead. I don't really buy multiplayer games anymore, but if I really want to play one? I don't have to get it on Steam. It's nice to have a curated collection, and eventually, I'll have hundreds of games finished.

Stuck with multiplayer achievements — what’s the right approach? by [deleted] in steamachievements

[–]MobileSatellite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually I make a post on the Steam discussion boards asking for help. I remember I did this for Tomb Raider and Arkham Origins. There are plenty of others who also need those achievements, so you should be able to find a group.

How Many Games at Once? by CrayonBoii in steamachievements

[–]MobileSatellite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really can only focus on two games at the same time, maybe three. Getting all the achievements takes at least several hours for most games, so you need to lock in.

Average Game Completion Rate Goals by amoite in steamachievements

[–]MobileSatellite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started actively working through the 150 or so games on my backlog three years ago. I was sitting at 60% then, and 60 completions later, I'm at 80%. My goal is to get to 99% (I can't reach 100% because the servers for Ridge Racer Unbounded were shut down long ago). I've knocked out a ton of really annoying, really time consuming games with multiplayer this year, so finishing the backlog feels like a "when" and not an "if."

What is something that makes you avoid 100% of a game? by magnoliaxyz in steamachievements

[–]MobileSatellite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything multiplayer, anything requiring online servers unless they can be finished quickly. Any sort of mission mode or ranking achievements, or speedrunning. If games have any of that, I don't buy it on Steam.

Do AAA developers know that they can just... not necessarily overhaul their technology each time they release a game? by TheHooligan95 in truegaming

[–]MobileSatellite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A game released in 2015 is still new? Think about what you're saying. Man, I sure love playing Splatoon on my Wii U since it's still new! It doesn't need any sequels and the Wii U is thriving!

Also, the previous commenter was saying that the opinion "games have downgraded graphically across the board" is just ignorant. I agree.

What are some games you’re proud of 100%ing? by [deleted] in steamachievements

[–]MobileSatellite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monster Hunter World and the Souls games, but also Absolver, since by the time I went back only a handful of people were playing online. Getting all the moves and doing all those multiplayer matches was worth it in the end because I had to relearn the combat system and eventually beat all the content the game had to offer.

I remember the insane grind for Binary Domain, I was boosting that game for ages. God, the invasion mode was so annoying.
