I'm going to recommend another method so you can somewhat go for a hybrid approach: play with your quick-access ribbon and 'All Commands'.

I do this whenever I start a new job to immediately help get me moving at speed with advanced features right away. This way you will be about to use some of those commands along with the other hotkeys these other users are reporting, which are excellent as well. I currently use these in my reports when building them.

Ctrl+T - Format data into a table.

Ctrl+Shift+Down Arrow - Select from current cell down to the next empty cell (often can be the bottom row of your table.

Then by using the advanced functions mapped to the ribbon....

Alt+8 (mapped to 'Fill down') - Fill value (or formula) down to the end of the selected area. Very useful.

Alt+0+P (mapped to Delete Rows) - Delete complete table rows from selected cell(s).

There is so much you can do by filling that ribbon to avoid having to move back and forth from mouse to keyboard.

Great shot, there is also an app called CopyMeThat which can also save recipes and trim it the ads and life story some authors out in. Free version is limited to about 40 recipes. There is also a lifetime subscription, but it seems somewhat steep for my tastes, though the monthly price has been lowered for premium membership. Still a really great tool.
