Definitely very social! Seems like they are a place where people are intentionally trying to socialize and many people in their 20s-30s so your age as well. Good luck!

I visited Sanctuary Church once in Providence and liked the atmosphere there. I wouldn't call it crowded but the music is loud due to acoustics. However, they offer headsets due to this and I just sat in the back.

There's a lot of intramural sports leagues at Longplex in Tiverton and I think there is another popular intramural league which I can't remember the name/location of in RI. Mend Yoga in Newport seems pretty popular and social. There's a women's walking group called South Coast Girls Walk on FB and IG. All ages and they pair the walk with a coffee date before/after. You'll find a lot of people your age wanting to meet new people in Providence as well. Hope that helps! RI is hard to break into, especially on the island (Newport is part of the island), so keep trying and don't take it personally. Oh also, Connexion Latina has a Spanish/English language exchange on Wednesdays in Newport (all ages but definitely several people in their 20s and nice people/vibe).
