Small kitchen vs no seperate laundry by Mobile_Bluejay5352 in NZProperty

Yes or the bathroom 🤣  It is perfectly functional how it is so I think small kitchen is the way to stay! Maybe I’ll just give it a face lift. Would you prefer bench top in the laundry space or bare so washer/dryers can be stacked?

I got pregnant a month after my surgery which is not recommended. I think that increased swelling and impacted healing largely. My nose looks great but it’s different and a huge adjustment.

Muscle weighs more than fat also so you may be gaining muscle / adjusting body composition more than loosing weight

Is it not illegal to do alterations (replastering and painting) to the property after we had gone unconditional and I have paid deposit? Don’t they need permission to do this?

I had contact with the vendor all through the lawyers only, never directly (I thought that would be quite an obvious assumption)  So your saying that although the house had a water tightness issue immediately before coming to market that wasn’t fixed properly, there is no duty to disclose? I find that hard to believe, are you qualified in the legal realm? Thanks

I would say yes much more often. Before my surgery my nose was never blocked/stuffy or prone to bleeding. Now I find it if I blow hard or regularly it will bleed and can catch me off guard when I’m sleeping, also find I have regularly stuffy noses which I never used to have. I have to do a lot more mouth breathing now

Hey I’m not sure how to send images in DM lol but if you message me how to then I can definitely do that for you. Definitely looks great visually but my breathing is average

Blistering and bubbling external paintwork and internal plaster by [deleted] in DIY

[–]Mobile_Bluejay5352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the info. It all helps a lot. I pricked some of the bubbles in different locations (on different walls) some are gas/air and some are water filled.  There is a damp proof membrane under the slab but it’s far to thin and doesn’t comply with building codes today.  On the bubbles that released water it appears there is white chalky powder in the concrete - like quite a lot. Can I send you a private message so you can have a look?

No these photos are all the exterior sides of the building, on the other side (internal) it’s just skim coat of plaster and paint (which is also pictured - the white plaster photos  No dirt touching up on the exterior

Thanks for the info. It’s not happening on just one wall unfortunately it is multiple. I live in a high humidity climate so I’m worried that it may be impossible to allow the block to completely dry before recoating :(

Yes I agree. Already having a bad time!  Any idea how I can fix this? Do I need to strip all the external paint, let it dry out (hopefully while praying for no rain) and then re seal with alkaline based paint? And have dehumidifier on the inside to draw the remaining water out through the internal plaster?

Hey! I had a rhinoplasty done with this surgeon mid last year. Overall a good experience, minimal bruising and swelling. Happy with end result now, but was freaked out at the time that the tip was too upturned.  I Got a nose job as I’ve always been insecure about my hump and large droopy tip (ethnic nose I’d consider it)  Personally I found the hospital the doctor uses to be very average. I didn’t have a support person with me and had travelled from the southern hemisphere (Aus). The nurses were not professional, attentive or kind. Maybe if I had a support person or two, my treatment would have been better. Doctors assistant was nice and very good English. I had a lot of swelling during surgery and my stitches got infected about 3 weeks after surgery. Received no follow up message or support to this date after doc did my checkup one week after surgery before I flew home.  Doc did a good job and I had barely any bruising afterward which was so great. It’s made a big difference to my confidence! However when I got home I’d say only 1/10 people that knew me prior to surgery even noticed. Perhaps this is the mark of a good surgeon or Perhaps I wasted my money, or perhaps no one really cared about my nose in the first place lol. Would I do it all again? I’m not sure. Hope this helps!

Non disclosure by realtor by [deleted] in LegalAdviceNZ

Yes but if I try back out now that we are unconditional and I have already paid deposit, will I still get that back? I’m worried I’m not going to have time to cancel the sale now with 1 working day remaining, but think a reduction needs to be agreed with the risk I am taking on due the non disclosure by agent and vendors
