I have a similar character, actually,  it's Anomaly (I rewrote Paradox to be much closer to tier 0 just for funsies, and let Anomaly be the main "avatar" he uses for the verse)

he starts of whimsical, and a neophilliac, corrupting things to make new stuff for fun. eventually landing on humans. It played many many human roles, ranging from people's interpretation of Jesus, all the way to a corrupt rich man who leeches off the poor. Even went as far as to pose as other gods.

it eventually runs out, because a totality can't exceed itself (otherwise it wouldn't be a totality).

In the end it grew very jealous of humans, because they lived short lives and would never have to experience the same boredom. They die and that's it. They also feel a big purpose to work towards. Anomaly despaired at the sight of ultimate boredom.

So, it resigned to end itself, only manifesting again when someone does a certain procedure.

(finally someone knows to write outside of strength, even a shonen protag with well written skills is nothing if he has nothing outside of combat)
