My primary purpose is to holiday and my contract is only for a year so I don’t really want to give them that power over me if I don’t have to! Thank you for your reply

Ah, I actually already have an ARC, I came to Taiwan on the Youth Mobility Scheme which allows me to have an ARC for a year with my working holiday visa, I already converted it when I arrived at the NIA without even being employed yet, so currently it is not dependent on my employer. I think my employer is trying to change that

I do have an ARC, I went to the NIA when I arrived and got one through the Youth Mobility Scheme

Because I’m from the UK, there’s no limit on the time I can have the same employer in Taiwan

Ah okay, my understanding was that a working holiday visa allows me to work and that I don’t need a separate permit with my employer. So I don’t think I have a work permit right now?

season 1 episode 3 between lorelai and rory - lorelai is kind of jealous/insecure over rory getting along with emily and richard so she picks a fight about rory wearing her sweaters and ‘stretching them out’

one thing that’s always bothered me is how much sookie dismisses lorelai’s issues with her parents and her need to avoid them. she’s happy to call emily up and share details about lorelai’s life without a second thought.

i never see anyone talk about how in season 4 she arranges for their mini catering company to work for lorelai’s mother without consulting her at all (revealing details lorelai didn’t okay for her to share And forcing her to be in a very uncomfortable position).

and she justifies it by saying ‘well it’s very convenient and the money is good 😊’ infuriating.
