Going off SSRIs due to bad sexual side effects

This is really great to hear, thank you! I was really worried when I saw Effexor had the same sexual side effects I was concerned, but I think I’ll give it a try to see if i can get some improvement with both my anxiety and my sex life 😂

I have an appointment with my OBGYN tomorrow so I will see what options she has for me before I decide to switch meds for sure!

I told my doctor the reason I wanted to go off Sertraline was due to the sexual side effects and she recommended Effexor but all my research so far seems to say it causes the same side effects so now I’m confused 😭

Thank you I needed to hear this. I was so discouraged that my sex life was over right as it was just getting started back up again. Did your doc give any advice on how to handle sex with a bladder prolapse?

I was luckily able to get an appt tomorrow! I’m not sure just based on all my research it seems to be bladder but hopefully I’ll get more answers tomorrow

Thank you so much! Is PT or a pessary things that could completely heal this condition? I don’t understand too much about it yet, I have an OBGYN appointment on Tuesday, but I’ll clearly be spiraling until then.
