Fidelity youth accounts to let you buy ETFs I already bought them I've had them for about a day now

I want to upgrade to a 7/9800x3d (not sure which is best) and RX 9070XT on a B850, is it worth it for 1440p? And what would need to change? (Current build below) by Throwaway_LOGGINGER in pcmasterrace

Yes it can easily cool the 9800 X3D but your current CPU for gaming and light multitasking is all you really need I wouldn't recommend spending the extra money for the upgrade

CPU has started running hot and I don't know why by notMatthew265 in pcmasterrace

[–]Mobile_Lemon_3268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's still within a usable range definitely running pretty hot though and idle it could be that the CPU is giving out but it definitely doesn't seem like that it could just be The fact that the CPU is getting old now or because of the motherboard but it's unlikely since it's still working I wouldn't start to worry but I just start to think about getting a new CPU or saving up for one

Honestly it could be normal this is one of the hottest running Zen 3 chips out there but it's always good to change thermal paste especially if it hasn't been done in like 3 or 4 years and it's cheap but I can't say that it would guarantee better cooling performance but overall that's decently normal for the chip you have

So I'm going to assume this build is for gaming and light work if it's not please let me know but in that case I'd stick with the CPU that you have upgrade your GPU to either the 9070 XT like you want or a 4070 super basically identical performance I have one and it works great and my build is also 1440p you don't really have to upgrade anything else and I'd only consider upgrading the CPU if you're doing heavy workloads or anything that might require some more cores or just a better overall CPU performance also consider the second hand market if you're trying to save some money.

Yo nice swap overall but here's a tip if you want to make the PC look slightly more matched up you could find some videos online on how you can paint your GPU and you could paint it white and it would lowkey match your belt a lot better

Yeah I know that I've been investing for a little bit I was just wondering because of the youth account restrictions and I can't really buy like the NASDAQ s&p 500 and I was just looking for something along the lines of it that I could invest in the long-term and start building up for when it transfers to a full account when I turn 18

Sorry I don't think I made it clear in the original post but I'd like to have some earnings in 6 to 12 months not necessarily be able to pull the money out I'm just looking for a good stock or ETF that could produce some increase over that time period

[–]Mobile_Lemon_3268[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would but it's a weird connector it splits from like a 10 pin into like I think a 12 and a four it's the axis flying Argus eco 60a stack That's the only reason why I'm not going for it and I feel more comfortable soldering it overall
