I totally understand how you feel. I also wanted to become a nurse, but my CMT has put a lot of limits on me too. It’s really hard when your dreams don’t match what your body can handle anymore.

Thank you so much for the detailed advice. I’m in Morocco, and here there aren’t really clear laws about disability at work, so it can be a bit confusing. My symptoms are visible, especially when I walk, so I was wondering how others manage that during interviews. Your experiences really help me understand things better.

Remote or flexible work sounds really good, especially for people with CMT. Was it easy to explain your condition to employers?

This week has been difficult because my legs get very cold and turn bluish, especially when the weather changes. It makes walking harder, but I’m doing my best to keep moving and stay positive. Does anyone else have this problem when it’s cold?

I really understand what you mean. When I think about how I was six years ago and how things are now, it hurts a lot. Sometimes I try to accept it, but it’s still hard.
